This course in negotation skills will give you an overview of formal and informal negotiations and enable you to achieve better results when negotiating on behalf of an agency, committee or ministry.
'International Negotiation - Government Focus' will enable you to better decipher signals, interpret where the negotiation is going and choose the steps that will best serve your mandate.
The course uses case studies where you will have the opportunity to test the tools and strategies in practice. We will record the exercises so we can review what happened together.
You will receive personal feedback on both negotiation techniques and language usage. Your English will get a solid boost, whatever your level.
We use concrete strategies to enable you to navigate the negotiation process.
We will give you the tools to best determine how to prepare your negotiation, when not to negotiate and what is an optimal negotiation outcome.
The course uses a wide range of cases and exercises, giving you plenty of opportunity to try out different negotiation scenarios yourself. You'll gain experience and recieve feedback in a safe environment.
You'll gain insight into how cultural issues affect communication in a cross-cultural context.
